I found this greatly entertaining and inspiring. I was resonating with so much of what Laurence was expressing as a constant search for meaning & feeling in life. Truly I’m a scanner too, also finding it SO challenging to complete a lengthy project, particularly a writing one! I can recommend attendance at a Breakthrough to Success course; 3 packed days of peak life experience & inspiration; a treasure trove of tools to help you realise your dreams & catapult you to the stars. Look up http://www.thinkbigeducation.co.uk Your emails/links keep me motivated, John, thankyou sO much. Hope to get to the next Scanner’s night. In Dec? will there be any in 2010?

This is one of the best talks I’ve heard. Good, honest information about what it’s like to pursue a project and some revealing insights into the world of optimism.
Intrigued as to why Laurence didn’t pursue stand-up as he seemed to have such a successful response from his audience.
